Pensacola Grant

For 2014 and 2015 the Pensacola Interstate Fair Inc. has given out around $30,000 towards educational grants. From that $30,000 it will be spilt into $1,000 for 30 students towards any college they choose to attend. Not only is a grand a welcoming gesture but that can easily pay for numerous school books and a part of the tuition that will be needed. Since Pensacola has been around since 1983, a million dollars has been given and well over that towards students for educational commitment. This grant is directed towards their local community of students that need a helping hand. From different high schools in the area, we will give you a list that is applied towards this grant. Clayton T. Fischer, Jay High School, Tucker C. Harrington, Jay High School, Jeffery T. Kelley, Jay High School, Micah J. Kemp, Jay High School, Colby A. Odom, Jay High School, Tyler W. Odom, Jay High School, Alisa B. Roberts, Jay High School, Emily S. Russell, Jay High School, Kourtney P. Smith, Jay High School, Derrill S. Starling, Jay High School, Donald P. Cunningham, Pace High School, Elizabeth A. Parra, Pensacola High School (IB) and Brandon H. Ingram, Central High School. Here is the website for the entire list: http://pensacolatoday.com/2015/04/pensacola-interstate-fair-gives-out-30000-in-college-grants-to-local-students/

Since this grant is provided every year, giving 30 students a well-adjusted start to their college years, which given the time frame has helped nearly a 1,000 students achieve their dream. Of course conditions apply such as, this is a one-time only and you must be enrolled by the fall to use this grant. To know if you’ve been rewarded look towards the third week of April for a notification that you have received the $1,000 this will be sent to the finical aid of your choice.

Think of the possibility if every corporation of institute could provide such an idea. Giving a select amount of funds to push towards educational value and giving a student not only a chance but the utmost possibility that this has become a reality. Not only has this program shown a tremendous effort but it surely hasn’t gone unnoticed.
